Huanghetitan ruyangensis, a gigantic sauropod from the Late Cretaceous of Henan Province, China

Huanghetitan ruyangensis sp. nov.
ETYMOLOGY:
'Titan of the Huanghe' - Huanghe, Chinese name for the Yellow River. Ruyang refers to the Ruyang County of Henan Province.
DESCRIPTION:
Huanghetitan ruyangensis is known from an incomplete skeleton consisting mainly of vertebrae, haemal arches, dorsal ribs and one incomplete ischium. The length of the longest rib indicates that this species had the deepest body cavity out of all known Asian sauropods.
