I have wondered if a Tyrannosaurus rex were to get into a fight with a Giganotosaurus which would win and would it be to the death? I do know this is a imposible battle since the fact they lived far diffrent time lines.

I'd have to warn you that what follows is purely speculative material...
If in a completely hypothetical scenario and we were to find Tyrannosaurus rex in mortal combat with Giganotosaurus, I would think T. rex would probably do some serious damage even fatal if he got a proper bite into Giganotosaurus in the right place, presumably the neck. T. rex has a very robust skull with huge cranial adductor chambers which in life would have housed a substantial amount of jaw-closing muscles. This would have allowed for a very strong muscle-driven bite. The strong skull structure on the other hand would have allowed Tyrannosaurus to withstand even further stresses. The overall morphology and biomechanics of a T. rex skull shows that he was a big-time biter. So if Giganotosaurus was foolish enough to let T. rex get a bite out of him, he is surely finished.
However, since a single fatal bite would also mean a fairly precise bite T. rex would have to either overpower his opponent to allow him to bite in leisure or strike out with precision. Giganotosaurus with his flatter razor-sharp teeth on the other hand would probably have used his teeth to slash at his opponent. So he has the advantage of repeated strikes over precision. Giganotosaurus could employ repeated small slashes at T. rex until T. rex loses too much blood and can't fight anymore. All Giganotosaurus have to do is to avoid being bitten by T. rex...
